Process Engineer
Job Functions:
• Process improvements that support and meet established goals.
• Conduct statistical and analytical exercises (IE: DOE, Gage R&R, or other experimentation methods) that focus upon resolution of complex problems
• Prepare documentation that outlines respective program requirements.
• Perform front-line electrical and/or mechanical equipment troubleshooting.
Requirements:
• BS Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 2-5 years related experience. Six Sigma Green Belt training/certification is a plus.
• Strong mechanical and analytical aptitude relating to the manufacture of complex mechanical / electro-chemical products, refined written and oral communication skills, basic CAD, computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Mini Tab), application of Lean Manufacturing concepts, applied statistical analysis of data, working knowledge of basic electrical circuits, working knowledge of configuration management, multi-tasking and forward thinking individual, hands-on team member oriented mentality
