Our client is a design and manufacturing company located in Baltimore, MD. They are actively seeking a highly motivated individual to become a part of their dynamic team as a Quality Engineer. This position will be responsible for providing quality engineering support on design and development programs.You will also help develop and maintain their Quality Management System (AS-9100) to assure that all products manufactured by the company meet customer specifications and achieve established quality and reliability standards.

Requirements
5-10 years experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing or aerospace/​defense environment.
Bachelors Degree preferred.
Extensive knowledge of AS-9100 and all applicable military inspection and quality standards.
Fluent in root cause analysis and the 5 Why approach.
Experience in the use of quality measurement equipment, including CMMs.
Ability to read and understand technical specifications and engineering drawings.
Must have working knowledge of ASME Y14.​5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, calibration standards, and corrective action systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prepare and present professional presentations in a customer setting.
