Quality Inspector

Design and manufacturing company located in Baltimore, MD. Actively seeking a highly motivated individual to become a part of adynamic team as a Quality Inspector. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing CMM type inspections and using computer aided measuring devices. The position will provide quality support for receiving, in-process, and final inspections, as well as maintain calibration of internal mechanical and electrical inspection equipment. Experience in antenna and microwaves a plus.

Requirements
Minimum of High School diploma with some math, technical and quality coursework.​ Prefer Associates degree in a technical discipline with courses in manufacturing or quality.
Specialized training in CMM measuring using CAD programs.
Minimum of 4 years experience in Quality Inspection.
Experience with operating and programming CMM’s, Laser Tracker and portable computer aided measuring equipment.
Ability to read technical specifications, engineering drawings and descriptions as they relate to engineering designs, process flow, manufacturing techniques and quality standards.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with the following specifications: ISO-9001, AS9100, ANSI/​ASME Y14.​5M, MIL-STD-45662, MIL-STD-1520, MIL-STD-100.
Proficient in some of the following: PC DMIS Software, Spacial Analyzer Software, CAM2X Software, AutoCad, Pro E.
