Cell Design Engineer
Design and develop cells: analyze requirements, evaluate trade-offs, justify selections based on performance, cost, risk, and schedule. Provide information to other departments (purchasing, production, EE, R&D) and support transition from concept to production. Stay informed of latest developments in field through training, conferences, reviews of R&D material, and generate patents or other intellectual properties. Support purchasing to identify, evaluate, and qualify new manufacturing processes and materials.
• Design, develop, and analyze Lithium-Ion cells using ProEngineer.
• Assist process engineers in developing processes and tooling required to produce prototype and new production cells.
• Analyze cell performance and improve design to optimize performance, manufacturability, and cost.
